apple-pie-tacos



  • Small round flour tortillas (I used Udi’s gluten free)
  • Canola Oil for frying
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 large can apple pie filling, (If apples are large, can cut some in half)
  • Reddi-wip, Cool Whip or whipped cream you love


How to Make It

  • Combine sugar & cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
  • Heat 1 1/2″ of oil in a deep pot on the stove over medium.
  • Once oil is hot, lay a tortilla in carefully. Using tongs, flip it over and fold it in half with the tongs until browned. Flip again to brown the other side. Be careful as the oil may splatter!!!! Carefully remove from the oil, getting rid of any excess and lay it into the cinnamon & sugar mixture.
  • Fill each taco with the apple filling and top with whipped cream!
