Easy Peach Cobbler



  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cup sugar(divided)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 can peaches (15 ounce each) undrained
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)


How to Make It

  • Preheat oven to 375 °
  • Melt unsalted butter in 9x13 baking dish
  • Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and milk in a medium bowl, stirring until ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir)

  • In a medium saucepan, bring remaining 1 cup sugar, peaches(with juice or syrup) and lemon juice to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
