- 1 stalk celery,chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 to 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck, browned and drained
- salt and pepper
- 4 cups water
- Put everything in large slow cooker and cook on high
- for 6 hours or on low for 8 to 10 hours.
- Note: Some pots are 6 quarts, so you may have to reduce this recipe if you have a smaller pot.
