million-dollar-pound-cake



  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 pound butter, softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


How to Make It

  • Combine sugar and butter. Cream until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour to creamed mixture alternatively with milk beating well. Stir in flavorings. Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour & 40 minutes.
